Tickets are purchased! I am excited to be flying from Boston this year, which will cut a few hours out of my travel time. This year I will be on Delta and KLM, flying Boston to Amsterdam to Kigali. I am happy not to be going to Brussels, after the bombing at the airport earlier this year. I know terrorism can happen anywhere, but let’s all cross fingers Amsterdam stays out of it.

In the 75 days between now and take off, I’m going to share more pictures of last year’s trip, most taken by my colleague David Fish, MD. He is an anesthesiologist and amateur portrait photographer.
